Opulent Car Care – Terms of Service

1. Service Agreement
By booking a service with Opulent Car Care, you agree to the following terms:
- Mobile Service Area: We operate within Brisbane and surrounding suburbs. Travel outside this area may incur additional fees.
- Vehicle Access: You must provide keys and ensure the vehicle is accessible at the scheduled time. For safety, we may move the vehicle during service (e.g., repositioning for shade/water access).
- Weather Delays: Services may be rescheduled due to rain or extreme weather without penalty if notified 24 hours in advance.
2. Payment Terms
- Accepted Methods: Cash, credit/debit cards, or digital wallets. A non-refundable deposit may be required for premium services (e.g., ceramic coatings).
- Surcharge: A surcharge may apply to non-cash payments.
3. Cancellation Policy
- Rescheduling: Free rescheduling within 24 hours for weather-related issues.
4. Liability & Responsibilities
- Personal Belongings: Remove all valuables before service. We are not liable for lost/damaged items left in the vehicle.
- Pre-Existing Damage: We document vehicle condition before service. We are not liable for pre-existing scratches, dents, or mechanical issues.
- Child Seats: We do not remove/reinstall child seats due to liability concerns.
5. Consumer Rights & Guarantees
- Australian Consumer Law (ACL): We comply with ACL guarantees. If services are faulty, we will repair, redo, or refund as required.
- Complaints: Report issues within 24 hours of service completion for a free re-clean.
6. Privacy & Communications
- Data Use: We collect personal information (name, phone, email) to deliver services and send promotional offers. You may opt out of marketing communications at any time.
- SMS Consent: By providing your mobile number, you consent to service updates and promotions. Message/data rates may apply.
7. Safety & Compliance
- Queensland Road Laws: Our staff comply with mobile phone laws (e.g., hands-free use only while driving).
- Chemical Safety: We use eco-friendly products where possible and disclose risks for sensitive materials (e.g., leather).
8. Intellectual Property
- Content Ownership: Website content, logos, and marketing materials are owned by Opulent Car Care. Unauthorized use is prohibited.
9. Dispute Resolution
- Mediation: Disputes will first be resolved through negotiation. If unresolved, parties agree to mediation under Queensland law.
10. Amendments
- Updates: We may modify these terms at any time. Continued use of services constitutes acceptance of changes.
Queensland-Specific Requirements
- Workplace Health & Safety: Staff adhere to chain-of-responsibility obligations under Queensland transport laws.
- Insurance: Vehicles are covered by compulsory third-party (CTP) insurance.
